Trützschler has embraced the principles of sustainable corporate governance for almost 140 years. Through resource-efficient technologies for our customers, sustainable manufacturing at our sites, and a partnership-based approach to our employees and stakeholders, Trützschler has been ensuring the company's success since its founding in 1888 – and making a significant contribution to preserving natural resources.
Sustainability is firmly embedded in our strategy. We are committed to social and environmental responsibility and actively pursue the ambitious targets set by the German Climate Protection Act. In this way, we are actively helping to shape a future-oriented textile industry.
Our focus in sustainable economic activity lies in developing solutions that enable better raw material utilization and reduced energy consumption for our customers.
One example: When processing cotton, our machines and systems ensure that not a single fiber of this valuable raw material is wasted while saving energy at the same time. With our complete solution for the recycling of textile waste, we are making a significant contribution to a more sustainable value chain.
Beyond that, we implement extensive measures in energy management, procurement of green heating/cooling and green electricity, as well as mobility and logistics. As a result, we were able to reduce CO₂ emissions at our headquarters in Mönchengladbach by 50% in 2025.
